About the Owner-Bill Schick I founded The Ark Pet Sitting after using kennel facilities for our beagle, Moses. Moses would come home "not speaking to us" and refusing to eat. I tried using relatives and friends but I felt I was always imposing on them. I decided starting a pet sitting business was the perfect solution and pet owners would receive the added bonus of their homes being well taken care of. I am married and the proud father of 2 daughters ages 4 and 6 months and a 2 year old son. I volunteer as a Big Brother of an 14 year old boy in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program and also mentor 2nd graders at Oriole Park Elementary in Wyoming thru Kids Hope USA. I am active in my church, Wesley Park UMC caring for infants thru preschoolers. I have found that taking care of children and animals, although different, have many similarities. The biggest is if you love them unconditionally as they love you, the influence you have is tremendous.
